Variety Description / Further Information:
Like P#4/B104, but adhesive stamp on Russia / SSSR P#247/B231 (1992). Physically smaller, now lithography printed and the denomination in different languages on reverse was removed.

Adhesive stamp with Alexander Suvorov portrait and denomination over watermark area.

After the Trans-Dniester Moldavian Republic (also called Pridnestrovie / PMR) was formed in 1990, Russian Ruble notes from the 1961-1992 era were used. Later, in 1994, the PRB started adhering small stamps with the image of A. Suvorov (the founder of the city of Tiraspol). The notes replaced Russian Ruble notes at par, several varieties were used. The notes were demonetized in December 1994, after the new currency "Kupon rubles" was introduced in September 1994 at a rate of 1,000 Rubles = 1 Kupon Ruble.

Some sources say, that originally only circulated notes were used for these provisional issues and assume that UNC notes were created later, mainly for collectors.
